Aluminum Foil
- 9 Lasagna noodles
- 1 pound Ground beef
- 24 ounces Tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons White sugar
- 15 ounces Ricotta cheese
- 2 cups Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
Preheat the Oven
Set your oven to 375 degrees right now. Let it get very hot for baking.
Boil the Pasta
Fill a big pot with clean water. Add a little salt to the water. Boil the noodles until they are very soft. Drain the water out using a colander.
Cook the Meat
Put the beef in a large skillet. Cook it until it is no longer pink. Drain the extra grease from the pan.
Season the Sauce
Add the tomato sauce to the beef. Pour in the white sugar and spices. Stir it well on low heat. This creates the Ingredients for Chef Boyardee Lasagna Recipe base.
Mix the Cheeses
Put ricotta and parmesan in a bowl. Add the parsley and stir it up. This is your creamy middle layer.
Layer the Bottom
Spread a thin layer of sauce in the dish. This stops the noodles from sticking.
Add the Noodles
Place three noodles over the red sauce. Make sure they cover the whole bottom.
Spread the Cheese
Put half of the ricotta mix on noodles. Spread it out with a big spoon.
Repeat the Layers
Add more sauce and more noodles again. Add the rest of the ricotta cheese now. End with a final layer of meat sauce.
Top with Mozzarella
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the top. Use a lot for a cheesy crust.
Bake the Dish
Cover the dish with aluminum foil tightly. Bake it for twenty minutes in the oven.
Melt the Top
Remove the foil from the baking dish. Bake for ten more minutes until brown.
